Kevin Hyka

Chief Executive Officer

Kevin founded Metro after realizing that a lightweight yet effective tool could be the perfect solution to New York's imperfect infrastructure. A graduate of Manhattan College with a degree in Business and a minor in Engineering Science.

John McParland

Lead Engineer

John graduated summa cum laude with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Lafayette College. As Metro's lead engineer, John is key to creating and refining our products to meet the highest standards.

Nathaniel Shire

Data Scientist & Lead Backend Developer

With prior experience in the NFL and with the NBA's Brooklyn Nets, Nathaniel brings deep expertise in complex software systems. He is one of the 20 brilliant minds behind the Metro+ app.

Miguel Lopez

Lead Frontend Developer

With previous experience at Cornell Medicine and 30 years of programming under his belt, Miguel brings a lifelong passion for micro-mobility and user-friendly interfaces to the Metro team.
